ABOUT ME
I’m Anna, a Portuguese–Italian UX/UI designer born and raised in Lisbon in the 90's. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with the human mind and behavior. My background merges science, creativity, and technology, a mix that has allowed me to approach UX with a curious, analytical mind while embracing the creative side of design.
With 3 years of experience in the fintech field, I’m now working at Trading Central as a UX/UI Designer. I could give you the same generic list of tasks every designer puts on their portfolio (and yes, I talk to cross-functional teams pretty much every single day), but instead, here’s what I actually do:
- Untangle messy design problems and (try to) make them simple
- Push pixels until my eyes get dizzy
- Translate business needs into interfaces users actually enjoy (and vice-versa!)
- And occasionally, explain for the 100th time why “just adding a tooltip” isn’t the solution.

I’m curious by nature and always chasing new things to learn: design, photography, books, AI or dancing until I run out of breath. Music is a big part of my day-to-day life and so are the Formula 1 race weekends.
I’m resilient, adaptable, and endlessly motivated to make each project better than the last. I believe the best work happens in happy, collaborative environments where everyone gets a chance to grow.
